What Service Do We Provide?
We will transport the Ag-bagger to your farm. Each HGV carries diesel and enough bags on board for up to 15,000 tonne.
We offer competitive rates with a scalable service and work closely with your contractor to keep trailers moving and the bagger running efficiently.
Our price includes labour, diesel, transportation and plastic. We work in conjunction with your field contractor, who harvests the crop and tips trailer loads directly into the machines as they move forward, leaving the bag behind.
We operate six lorries, one 3m (10ft) bagger, two 3.5m (12ft) baggers and three 4.3m (14ft) baggers for our contracting service. This provides us the capacity to get to your farm when you need us.
Space Required
Bag size and site access determine the most suitable machine for your operation. The table below outlines typical sizes and space requirements. We can advise on the best configuration for your crop, ground conditions and harvest schedule.
12ft diameter bags are used on most farms. We have found this size bag great for small farms feeding out around 1 tonne per day, as well as for larger farms feeding out significantly more.
| Diameter of bag | Tonnage per meter | WID |
|---|---|---|
| 3m (10ft) | 4 | 6.1m (20ft) |
| 3.5m (12ft) | 6 | 7.6m (25ft) |
| 4.3m (14ft) | 8.5 | 8.2m (27ft) |
Tonnage per meter varies slightly in accordance with dry matter and type of crop.

Contracting FAQ
What site is required?
We can bag on most surfaces. Rolled hardcore is ideal, but we regularly work in fields.
How much room is required?
See the space table above. Longer bags are more efficient with less plastic waste.
How much notice is required?
More notice is better. Book through the office and confirm dates closer to harvest.
Can baggers keep up with modern harvesters?
Yes. Our high throughput machines will keep any modern forager going constantly.
